April 30th, more like a summer's day :)

Either I need a new camera, or lessons in photography! Apologies for the quality of today’s attempts …
Libertia grandiflora … an Orange-tip butterfly flew out of shot just as I pressed the shutter, and sadly didn’t come back

An excellent day for sitting in the garden, watching the birds ‘bathing’ in the bird bath (if I can ever take a shot of them, you will be the first to know!).
Happy Bank Holiday weekend everyone.

What a happy blog, sheila, I'm glad you've had a good day. Your acers are gorgeous. I shall have to get advice as both OH and I have fallen for them and bought some new ones on holiday and hope I don't kill them! I have about 70% success with them...

Both Acers have sunny leaves.

Thank you Ange 🙂. Yes I think all Acers are lovely, and I’m sure you don’t really need advice … the only thing I know about them is shelter them from the wind!

Eileen, you’d be very welcome any time🙂.

Thanks Sue, that’s a happy comment 🙂.

Your Acers are lovely, Sheila! I like the cut foliage of Acers & there is one in a garden not far from me & I love to see it when I go past.

Late arriving again as charger broke last week, typical being near to the bank holiday...
.. .....................
I take lots of shots with my camera because I have a problem with one of my eyes Sheila, I often get blurry photo's because of that, I then delete when uploaded onto my laptop, thank goodness for modern technology, and digital, otherwise it would be too expensive for me to even take any photo's.....
I'm a fan of Acers as well, I keep mine in pots as the only time I tried one in my garden it only lasted for one year, and I'd had it for five in a pot, I was heartbroken and learnt my lesson, I love to see them in the sunshine..
