Would just like to wish all my lovely friends on GOY a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New gardening year,I’ve learned so much since joining and chatting to you all,(my plant wish lists got far too long too)had some great laughs too, really enjoyed looking at everyones pictures, and look forward to seeing many more next year.
Just a picture of an appropiately named daylily, not as good as most of you on the computer with all your fab cards :-)

Happy Holidays. I like the daylily - it has a nice velvet sheen (caused by the very top cells being bumpy intsead of rounded and smooth). Only a week to go before it's time to start the new seeds!

Thanks Wylie:-) hope you have a great christmas too, oh you'll have to give me some advice on your sowing technique I've only ever tried the damp vermiculite in the fridge method, very good but not 100% and with all the lovely free seeds I got from the AHS I want as many as possible to germinate :-))
