I took 401 photos at the local botanical garden. Do GOY members like to see those? They aren’t from a private garden.
Do GOY Like the dry plants that we can grow?
Although, its not near the dry ,warmer climate of Delonix in San Diego so we do have Azaleas and Rhododendrons and many English garden type plants. I was in Berkeley and its cool climate and huge Tudor homes was straight out of an English TV show.
On the other hand..I have seen that the English versions are usually lusher and greener then what we can do on part year rainfall.
The San Francisco bay area climate is a meeting ground of the Pacific Northwest and the dry Southwest. Some years we are more one then the other.
So,if you want more of some type of plant or garden…

I just like to see other people's gardens! I don't mind what it is, large or small, spectacular or a little gem you might bypass. I do envy anyone who can grow the tender cacti outside, some of those are so appealing and I suppose lots of us in the UK dream of tropical vines trailing languorously over trellis, arch and fence, dripping stunning flowers.
What sort of percentage of American home owners do garden, many of the pictures we see have very stark surrounds to the houses, with just the odd tree or bush? Otherwise you get the impression that they employ a firm to keep it pristine. All probably wrong, but impressions do stick!

Sometimes,I wonder if I should include in the photo- the surrounding yard,home..background. I should do more of that since people get an idea of what this part of the Earth is like.
I might try my best to crop less- and leave the wide view. And a closeup!
