Last blog of the year n into Winter
9 comments
Not been on much lately, not since October in fact, so thought I would do a blog to catch up.
GNuts says hello (NB drawers in the process of being thrown out)
So Back in late Oct things still in bloom
and I sat dog sitting one day and Kaia came out for a hug
and she enjoyed hogging both camera and bench (while sitting on me)
and still had Passions in the poly
and the last of the toms
the last of the passion vine fruits
Had some nice evening light one Oct evening
so took some pics of the front
etc
etc
and the Acer looked fab just before its leaves dropped
Did another batch of sauerkraut, this time using red cabbage
Loads left so will be enjoying that well into next summer
and later in November the first frosts finally came n Goosey wanted some food
finally nice to see some frost though
and so wrapped things up in the polys for the winter
all calm
still bits n bobs on the veg bed though
and so the front needs a good tidy up now but wont bother until the end of Feb ; )
and so Gnuts says goodbye for now (caught her having a nap on the bed, bad girl)
and so will I folks as I am not on the net proper these days I wont be on much here from now. BT caved at court (lol) and am still after another rogue ‘supplier’ ; ) so access isn’t that consistent at the mo.
Will pop by now n then n and might do a seasonal update. And am thinking of doing some other pages.
Hope folks had a good xmas and happy gardening for 2015
: )

What a lovely blog, love all your plants in pots. It just goes to show you how much you can grow in pots, and make a great display!

cheers folks
the sauerkraut is made the old fashion way and is 'live'..good for the stomach and immune system.
Teds, a while back did some big containers at the back so easier to manage.
Those pics in October where the last of the warm light till spring I suspect
