The bees are buzzing busily …

The butterflies are flirting flutteringly …

… and posing prettily …

The robin is perching proudly …

The blackbird is working non-stop, finding food for his babies …

The magpies are socialising in groups of four …

The blue tit is chirping cheerfully … can you see me ?

The great tit is gathering heaps of Shetland Sheepdog hair …
… soft and cosy for the little nestlings …

My dogs are contented and comfortable …

My gardens seem oblivious that the human world is in turmoil …

The cherub continues to cradle the bird bath, while the wonderful white blossom cascades from overhead …

The mermaid watches over the heathers, silent and serene …

It’s comforting that gardens provide a sense of normality …
… a safe haven in stressful times …

… so, you tulips, show off your orange faces …

… rockeries … rock on with your purples and blues

hyacinths … deliver your heady scents of springtime

and, Pieris Forest Flame .. keep on shining brightly

I’m very thankful that in these troubled times, the plants and creatures carry on giving pleasure, blissfully unaware of a global crisis.

Stay home and healthy everyone, and enjoy your gardens. x x x

Looks so tranquil there. We are very lucky to have our gardens, I agree.Let's hope the foolish people don't rush out to the countryside in this warm weather this weekend.

Thanks Fernever ..
spring is my favourite season.
There's a lot of chance in being able to photograph butterflies ... they seem more inclined to keep still if they are basking in the sunshine.

Lovely and cheering blog TT,
Thank you for sharing your garden with us.
I also believe that, in a way, we are privileged to have a garden where to go and take care of the plants, watching birds and other animals. I think fondly of most of my friends, many widows, others divorced, who live alone in apartments. This choice is a function of security for them. I think their children are more comfortable knowing that they are safe. But, in this difficult time, they cannot even go down to the sidewalk.

A lovely, cheering blog, TT! You have a way with words (& blogs especially!) that manage to cheer up the faint hearted!

I love all your pictures of butterflies as well as your plants! The dogs look very content! :)

Thank you 3d, Aleyna and Balcony for your lovely words ...

Yes, we are lucky to have access to outside areas nearby such as gardens with flowers and butterflies... it must be very difficult trying to cope in a high rise flat with no outdoor space. Staying home is a not a problem for me, especially having my dogs and budgie for company.

I absolutely loved your blog and seeing the pictures of your garden, really inspiring. Is the blossom above your cherub Magnolia. I love magnolias but not sure if I have room for one, unless it was in a pot maybe. Keep well and continue enjoying your lovely plants.
