we did have fun ~ laughed till we cried ~ probably wont be allowed back!
it was just off junction 16 of the M5 ~ wonderful view of the Severn bridges as you drive to the GC

we met up at the GC which is about three quarters of an hour for Tet and just over an hour for me ~ i live further away but the traffic made Tet's journey longer
i go that way to visit my mum so it works out well

SE London and yes we have two very nice ones fairly close by and they do lovely food too!!!

not sure how close yorkshire but the garden centre is just over an hour from me and three quarter of an hour from Tet but thats cos of traffic ~ she lives quite a bit closer i think???

Thanks everyone! We did have a glorious giggling time! Yes Yorkie the GC is north of the city and I live south, so have to go thru..about 8/10 miles..but crowded!!
Lulu you will have to come if only to get the wellies!!
Ive just come back from a gorgeous fish pie and lotsa veggies, and apple and date and syrup sponge pudd with custard..good old fashioned food..ate too much and passed on the chockies..wasnt I good-ish!!
Cant stop long, family coming in a minute so catch up later.

You forgot to mention the sherries and wines!!
Whadd'ya mean if only for the wellies, hows about the fine company!

Really like Jo Bentley's garden tools. Bought my wife a JB asparagus knife for her birthday ( think I blogged it in 'Asparagus' ) & just bought myself a JB stainless steel rake. Ash handles, I linseed oil the wood before useing, beautiful.

I dont fight with cheap tools Bampy! lol Good advert for Joseph Bentley..."Dont lose your HEAD buying cheap tools..go for the best, they will give you a LIFEtime's service"!!
