New House, new garden and new baby.

Hi everyone. I have not been on here for a while as I have recently moved and become a dad again.
Back in September I moved to a little village in the north of Hampshire where we now live in a fantastic little cottage and have a big garden that is pretty much just grass apart from some old conifers an apple tree and a weeping pear. It has a great beach hedge down the right hand side, mixed native hedge along the bottom and small 4ft fence pannels down the lefthand side.
So pretty much a blank canvas.
I have restrained my self from starting anything, but now my fence has gone in I can start.
It is made from Sweet Chestnut, and they are seperate hurdles with two single gates. One at either end of the 54ft fence run. I have started to lay some paths out of old reclaimed bricks I keep digging up and finding, as well as already planting some small box plants I bought from my old garden and some roses. I have five fruit trees on order from Blackmore fruit farm, 2 apple, 1 pear, 1 cheery and a plum. These will go in my veg garden that I shall be creating with raised beds (just for extra depth and rubble free).
I have planted another pear already a Williams pear that was bought as a present for our new son Evan William Pearce who was born on the 4th Nov and is now six weeks old.
He weighed in at 8.7lbs and is now over 12lbs. Both he and mum are doing fine.
I will keep you all updated on the garden as it developes and I hope that you all have a fantastic christmas and get loads of garden related pressies.
And finally, here is my garden helper, Bramble.

Great to see you and your lovely family. Nice to know that Blackmore fruit farm is still there. We used to live in that area over 20 years ago and often bought apples from that farm.

Late coming to this (sorry), but gorgeous baby son and gorgeous fence and gate! Did you make that fence yourself?? It's so original.
Great for a garden designer to have such a blank canvas . . . how's the Design practice going? Best wishes with that.
