Merry Christmas

Same to you Waddy and to everyone. A wonderfully decorated tree. One thing I do miss are the Christmas Tree lights of yesteryear. They were so hot they vaporized the pine oil of the tree and the whole house had that wonderfull sweet scent of Christmas. The cooler decoration lights of today don't do that.

Thank you Julia, Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you too. Is that a blooming Christmas cactus I see on the right? It looks like mine. They sure do usher in the Christmas Spirit, like those poinsettas I could never grow.

Bathgate: Right back at ya' well spotted Paul. I had though this one was going to let me down, but as you've seen it's just coming into flower and it has lots of buds still to come it flower.

I'm glad yours is blooming for you. Mine is as the exact same stage - I have two, red and pink. About cinnamon, did you mean fresh hot cinnamon rolls just out of the oven with icing running down? They will be at my holiday table too! :)

Bathgate :Thanks, I'm still on the lookout for a white one though. My pale pink one has already finished flowering. As for hot cinnamon rolls...please give up, I'm salivating! !

Pretty tree,Julia..even sideways Lol.My Christmas Cactus hasn't as many flowers as usual this year,for some unknown reason.but it's still nice..Have a wonderful Christmas..:o) xx

Julia, it is getting exciting now but if I have to check which bulb is not working on any more sets of Christmas lights I shall go mad! I have managed to set up ones for the dresser in the hall and some twined through some twigs in a vase, so all is not lost, lol! :o)

Thanks Julia we're picking our oldest granddaughter up at the station at Norwich on Saturday for a long weekend ,she's catching the train from London where she recently started a new job ,I expect she will be feeling very grown up :o)

Shirley : My inside ones are fine, but were tangled as usual! Unfortunately the outside ones are caput. I did buy some solar ones, but they're rubbish, so I'm going to have to get some more, even if my OH says we don't need them!

Amy: I'll be you can't wait for the weekend. She'll have lots to tell you. You. The weekend will fly!

Julia, our house is decorated and lit up now for Christmas. We have never had outdoor lights ... far too much for OH to cope with ... lol!

Shirley, if my OH had his way, a bit of tinsel would be all the trimmings we would have where as I would have the house festooned with lights the way they they do on those American adverts!

Ha ha Julia, we drove home along Worthing seafront last night and saw some gorgeous Santas, Reindeer, Snowmen etc. on balconies ... just wonderful!

Just my kind of thing Shirley. Freya counts the number of houses with lights and decorations outside. ..I understand her completely ☺
