Honey bees need help

The British Beekeepers Association have a scheme where you can adopt a beehive – either by a telephone call or on line at
http://www.adoptabeehive.co.ukYour pack for £29.50 including P+P will last for one year and will include:
•Certificate of Adoption
•Welcome letter from the President of the BBKA
•Factsheet about the honey bee
•A newsletter with an update about your honey bees in spring, summer & autumn
•BBKA window sticker
•BBKA fridge magnet
•Wooden honey dipper
•Set of six postcards
Plus a choice of a gift of either a ½lb (227g) jar of British honey or 100g jar of honey mustard.
Your adoption will help the BBKA to fund:
•Research into honey bee health and habitats
•Education and training for beekeepers to ensure best husbandry practices

thanks a lot~ I already belong to the Bumble bee Conservation Trust and would love to keep bees if we had room!

Thanks Wagger. My hubby is really interested in bees but keeping them in our small garden is out of the question at the moment. Last year as an anniversary gift I sent him off to a bee keeping course. This would be a nice gift until such time as we can get our own hive

That's a great idea Mageth - this could suit a lot of people with smaller gardens.
