It could have been Spring today.

Today it was warm, it was sunny, the birds were singing and it was a beautiful day.
It was a real pleasure to be outside.

Tomorrow it will probably be cooler, the clouds will be back, the birds will have gone quiet and it won’t be quite as beautiful.
But at least we had today.

Isn't it amazing Chris how everything is still flowering!
I expect the cold weather will come soon enough, but as you said, it was lovely to be out in the sunshine and makes us all feel better!
You have some lovely plants there too which are still flowering!
My Alstromerias and Echinaceous are too!

Lovely blog Chris, and yes we’ve been pretty lucky with the weather this week. We’re about to drive home after a few days in Norfolk … yesterday I paddled in the sea on Cley beach (with my boots on - I’m not stupid!).

Oh to be in sunny Devon :) and it's nice to see your garden looking so colourful in mid winter ...

I agree with Hywel . . . it seems you have sent that sunny weather along the coast to us today, Chris . . . many thanks!

Lovely, cheerful blog, Chris! You have a lot of colour and prettiness still persisting in your garden…must be quite a treat!
We have a misty morning here, right next to the river…very cold, although it’s now reached a balmy 4.7!!! 😁

Very spring-like here in NY too Rose. I don't care what the calendar says. Enjoy it.

Thank you everybody.
How right I was!!!
Today is cooler with a breeze from the east, it is cloudy and quite dark!
It was short but sweet!

It's very nice to see your lovely flowers still in bloom! Strange year we are having! All our summer plants should have died back or died altogether in not perennials, yet here they are still flowering! Even after a couple of nights of frost my Nasturtiums are still growing strong - I must admit they have hardly any flowers now but the seeds are fattening up & so I will have 100s for next year! 👍

We have had a couple of days with lots of cloud cover as well. Today we have had a lot of fog & it will continue overnight into Saturday midday - at least. Been quite cool as ell but almost no wind - well you can't very well have both at the same time, can you? 😂

Lovely flowers Wildrose! Weather here has been so so - not doing anything, no sun, no rain, no fog. I enjoyed your winter jasmine. Mine has done better than it has before - always such pleasure at this time of year. Your pelargonium is doing well outside too. And what can be nicer than pink flowers against a blue sky?

The only things flowering in my borders at the moment are the penstemons, so you are doing very well, W'rose.

How beautiful. Today the weather has changed here in Glasgow to cold and foggy. Enjoy the warmth while it lasts Wildrose as cold weather is on its way. I wish I had your lovely colourful plants at this time of year.
