Bromeliads

As you would expect, the Aechmea fasciata that I had growing beneath my hanging pumpkins did really well and are still flowering. The framework was removed so they could be seen better. Here are two photos taken a couple of days ago.
Another one that has started flowering is Aechmea pyramidalis.
The foliage is a little ratty, but I grow this outdoors. To the south is my stone shed, so much of the sun is blocked. For me, bromeliads flower in the winter months.
A couple of different daylilies is the spider ‘Vertigo’.
And my introduction from 2021, ‘Pico da Vigia’.

looking very good there Wylie.
The bromeliads are interesting plants and he flowers are small but enhanced by the whole structure.
Really like those daylilies.

My bromeliads come from Maderia, where conditions are very similar.
