My work area Nearly finished!

Thought I would give you an update of My work area in the garden, its nearly finished, just more fencing along the side of the Greenhouse, Hub moved it about 18" so we could get behind and cut back the dreaded Ivy.. Tomorrow he should get the posts in….

Hopefully the plants will help disguise the compost bins..

A couple of weeks ago hub went to fill in around these pipes when he noticed a nest in the space between the wall and the pipe!!! ..

We sat very still and before long mum came along, Awww..
Can anyone ID her please, I haven’t a clue :))

I really like that close board fencing, much nicer than horizontal ones like mine! Your compost bins are very smart, love the Acer and I think your bird is my missing Bluetit ... lol! Certainly has a good beak-full in the photo. : o )

Hi Stickitoffee/Shirley, I thought Bluetit, its tiny and i think there's yellow on her wings..yes, her head is black Stickitoffee.
Thanks Shirley, The fencing is Decking from B&Q, probably do the whole garden with it but not this year as hub has big feet and doesen't look where he's trodding, the plants are coming through and i dont trust him, I was having trouble getting a piece of wood from under a border i was digging, he said here, ill do it, and chopped the heads off newly emerged tulips!!! Grrrr :0

So I have a Great Tit nesting, Ill be stressed when there fledging, There's cats around here, loads of them!!
I bet those standard Euonymus look gorgeous PP, Do you have a pic of them, I have bulbs in mine, Pineapple plant, sorry forgot the latin name..
Hi san, yeah good work hub, untill he kills my plants lol
Thanks Sheila, the decking is on offer at B&Q and its smooth on the other side to use as fencing, but i liked it this way..

Thanks helenium, can't wait for the plants to fill out :)
Des res Nariz, You know, its probably the safest place in the garden to build a nest, as stickie said, cats can't climb up there..

I love the uniqueness of your garden, YDD...it's all looking very inviting and I can understand how you could relax so well that you'd find yourself napping :)

Hope the great tit is able to rear a nice brood and you can have the pleasure of watching them grow up :)
