love the mat idea to and that long log which iv been on the lookout for myself, i see them when council cut back trees but im afraid to stop and ask for one lol :o))

That log looks a treat,I like the mat idea and also the decking around the trees...

I think we all like the same one's, The mats my favourite, The log would look great with ferns in i think, I love the decking round the trees Linclass, if your stuck with trees in the middle of your lawn, what a great idea..
Ask San, they will give you one, I dont think they have a long lifespan as there dead lol but maybe a couple of years :)

Did it say how you stick the mats to the wall? I've got willow trellis on my ugly bit at present but it doesn't last for ever.

It didn't Steragram but maybe screws or waterproof no nails or similar...

Log and decking are superb we use old motorcycle tyres at work for planters just not painted any, well, yet we will now haha

I love them all but the log is inspired and what a novel idea for eggshells! :o)

I done the blogs the same way as you, Hywel! They are great and really get the old imagination going - if I didn't think I'd slip over I'd hang the rubber mats, currently outside my front door, on the wall :)

All great ideas. Especially the mat idea. I have been thinking what to do with a couple of spaces that I have on a wall, and this looks like it will fit the bill without breaking the bank! Would welcome more ideas please!

Now why didn't I think of that? That's what I thought looking at your pics. Great ideas Ydd, our local Home Bargains sometimes has those mats in very cheap. How much nicer they look painted:-)
