Nice to see you back Dd, its the trees and shrubs I worry about they went from months of drought to months of wet and high water table that has nowhere to go

Hi DD. Happy New Year. Like you, I have only been dipping in and out of GoY. There didnt seem much to put on there, but I shall be back soon too. Beautiful narcissus photo, I think we used to call it Pheasant Eye. Look forward to seeing your garden again soon.

I was given Mr T`s book and am really enjoying it but I cannot picture Alan being there, I guess we spent so long enjoying Barleywood, it still seems to me as though that is where I`d expect to find him, a bit like picturing G Hamilton sitting in his little hut , lol....

Lincs I have only just been allowed to pick up the book, so I cannot comment on your thoughts as yet.......

Pam I agree, have never known the garden to be so saturated for so long a period....
Scottish we went to the GCs today, garden tokens to be spent, managed to get a few hardy evergreens, we have some large shrubs that need removing, also an old arch to be replaced, not going to be easy, still we love a challange!!

Like you I've been dipping into GoY briefly but not finding time to stay and comment until now. Seem to have started a cold today so I am already sitting cosied up in jimjams, Lemsip on the side, and doing some catching up! I must admit I have been surprised to see so many shrubs etc with new growth on already in spite of the constant rain so I am optimistic. I will look forward to seeing your changes :)

Thanks GM have missed our little chats, Gee sorry to hear you have the cold, so many about this year, spent a good few hours with OH in the garden taken out some very old shrubs and moved others around, hope to do some more tomorrow before the weather changes again.....snow forecast now!!
