Wonderful news to share with us, Carole. Some squishy, cuddly baby hugs coming soon then once they are all settled in at home and receiving visitors.

You've made some lovely sweaters and hats...I can imagine the teddy when Samuel is a bit older and learns to recognize it as his....how proud you must be to have a great-grandson now and a great-grandaughter on the way in a very few months.

Thankyou for all the congratulation wishes, we are both thrilled Its hard to believe we are actually Great Grandparents it only seems like yesterday when our Grandchildren were born, the years just fly by.

I think I,ve knitted the cardi pattern, the one with the top in plain knit, If its the same it has bootees, the mums seem to like them and use them over socks.

Congratulations from me too. I do hope they live not too far away so you can watch him grow. Your knitting needles will be busy for the next couple of years as Samuel and your expected g'grandaughter will grow very fast in such a short space of time. He is a delight. Lucky parents to have a knitter in the family.

They grow so fast they will be at school before you know it so I'm pleased you will see them and maybe even be allowed to babysit sometimes.

We are Janey can't believe it Gt Gandparents twice in one year, my little fingers haven't had this much exercise for a long time, can't sit down now without a pair of knitting needles in my hand lol
