Not sure Janey as it was here when we moved in and could be quite old.

Lovely one Ange.

It's one I've used for years, indispensable for Internet these days.

They've been flying over here regularly too coming and going from the ponds near the Humber..

Beautiful Linda and with the orchid too.

Haha, I'm not trying anymore Acers in my garden as the three I have haven't done well at all..

I'm sure it will..:)

When it gets to be September the months seem to fly by don't they and there's always something else that has to be done. I hope you manage to get your daffs planted soon..

Thank you Ange

I don't remember that Ange, but yes a bit more oomph wouldn't go amiss with GW, I must admit. I do enjoy the houseplant folks though, you do get some real passion there. I cleaned the leaves of mine yesterday and they're looking very smart now. I did feed them during the summer with weak liquid seaweed and they're looking very healthy even though I say so myself! ...:))

Thanks Ange, it has lots of buds so fingers crossed 🤞

I still have a couple of bags of Daffs that I was intending to plant in the containers around the cash machine but up to the present time I've not got around to doing it! I would like to do it during this week - sometime!

Thanks, Janey! I was looking at it a couple of days ago & it seems to be alright. I hope it grows well next year & we see lots of flowers on it!

Lindak, that would be funny, wouldn't it? 🤣 🤣 🤣

Stunning!

I hope the hellebore grows well for you, Janey.

I admire your efforts Karen and determination to create an oasis which I am sure will make you happy.

Janey, I remember there was a series on TV years ago introduced by Anna Pavord about enthusiasts who raved over their particular group of favourites. It was funny, eccentric, informative and great gardening TV. The gardeners were all equivalent to these two who raved about their passionflowers, and I wish they would show it again. So much more fun than the relentlessly staid "GW".

Definitely moore forgiving when clearing up the leaves, Janey! I think there's a place for both kinds. I don't think these are as hardy, though. It got through last winter..

That was/is their name, Janey.

Glad you like, Klahanie.

I must get that path cleaned!!

Thanks so much PF.

Nice plants for autumn but I think that they are "plants on the edge" in our place .

Yes, apparently it is free but my daughter pointed out that the people who put the effort into designing the tool do suggest a small one-off donation once you have used it for a while and found that it works, but it isn't compulsory.

Thank you Julia, it's beautiful in the spring as well.

I found some daffy bulbs in the garage this afternoon Balc, so I've been planting them. A bit late but never mind..

I hope it does well for you Balc..

Beautiful Ange! And the leaves are so attractive aren't they? The total opposite of the holly leaves ones..

I do like these Ange, I used to have this colour. I think they were called shizostylis then, unless it's a different plant.

I remember as a child Mum grew one to help hide a shed Karen. She grew it tall and the flowers were very pretty with a tinge of pink.

That isn't good Shirley, you must miss your old neighbours and their garden so much..

That's a shame Kate. I do think they are a type of shrub that gets easily missed. Maybe you can prune round it and get it back to how it was?

Yours too Rose! Could you bring it back to the fore in the Spring?
