GoY Update : New email notifications

Dear all,

To help keep your email accounts clear we are changing the way we send out notifications.

Rather than send you an email for every comment you receive, we will now roll up several notifications into one email. We’ll still include links in the email and tell you how many comments you’ve had – you won’t miss out.

We will also let you choose how often you get notifications. You can choose whether we email you once an hour or once each day, or choose ‘none’ if you don’t want the emails.

Now if you get 5 comments in 15 minutes we’ll send you 1 email, not 5.

These preferences can be set by updating your profile.

Thanks to everyone who requested this feature and sorry it has taken us so long.

The choice is strange. If you do not want emails hourly or daily and click none you cannot receive the newsletter Is that right?

Errr - we need to tell Peter and Ajay about that - the Newsletter only ran for about 8 months and then the person doing it left us, so it doesn't exist any more.
