I'll miss having the number count on my inbox...
Hoping that will be back before too long...
Meanwhile, I've altered my email notifications option... :o)

i hadnt missed the inbox count, doesnt really affect anything , but thats just me , you do a good job on keeping things up to date, thanx guys :o)

I noticed the counts had gone too...hope they will be back. Its good though that we are getting more "visitors" to the site...

Thanks for the imfo.... i had found the site was getting very slow to do things especially in the early evenings......also some comments were coming on twice..... all seems ok today though...

Ooh er ... I thought nobody liked me anymore as all my favourites vanished from my ' Favourites List' but it's ok as they all came back 10 minutes later. Thought you'd all gone on an outing ! : o ) )

Thank you for explaining that Ajay, I join in thanking you for all your hard work, but please reinstate the numbers, on the inbox particularly as it makes it so easy to see if you have any PM's etc. Only a small thing I know but it does help.

Folks, at the moment we are just trying to make sure the website isn't so slow that it becomes unusable. We think inbox count in particular is useful so I am pretty sure it will come back soonish (though we do have an improvement in the pipeline along the lines of seen/not seen that will also give a unread count on your inbox)

Yes good idea Ajay. Is this why I don't always receive email notifications now? (I know they are now only hourly under the new system)

On the subject of in/outbox counts is there any way PM's can be seperated out? (As if you don't have enough to do, lol)

Ajay. My computer has been crashing today quite a lot in fact and when im on this lovely site everything seems to highlight its self it's annoying. Thought it was my computer. I am sure you will fix it cant be easy so many people on line all at once. everyone loves this site. I dont know how I have survived without it. Wished I'd found it years ago. Keep up the good work.

Just caught up with this blog! Thank you both for all you do to keep the site running. The counters are useful but I like Waggers suggestion even more, if that is at all possible.

Like Gee above I've just caught up with this blog! Been busy making up my own I suppose! I hadn't noticed that the numbers had gone AWOL! Nevertheless I find all your work to be very satisfactory & you are to be congratulated in attracting new members to the site!
