Beautiful. Some there we don't have here so its nice to see them. Its not easy to get closeups of butterflies is it - they seem to know when you are just ready to press the shutter and off they go! You are a talented creeper upper...

Yes, thanks so much. I lost about 10 money shots for everyone I captured. They seem to know when to flutter off - as soon as I touch the shutter. I can almost here them snickering.

Thank you for your lovely photos. I'm feeling very down at the moment as my best friend died today, her hubby obviously also my friend, died on Monday, C19 virus. I can't quite take it in, feel bewildered.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your friends. Who can make sense of what is happening today? Today I found much comfort just to pick up and hold my cat for a few minutes - my silly cat. May the Lord bring you much peace and comfort during these very strange & bewildering times, as He has done for me. God is over all!

Great variety of butterflies thanks Paul ,we dont get the monarchs but we have orange tips,red admirals, peacocks,painted ladies ,small blues ,brimstone,argos and commas ,plus some others.Swallowtails are rare over the pond mainly in the norfolk broads,but its always nice to see them return each year.
