Alex it is indeed a beautiful flower and another one for you to look out for, I have read recently they grow in the olive groves of Greece so you may well see them.
As for the painting it seems to loose depth and shadow when the photo is taken so not that pleased with the on screen effect, but thats me.

I've been looking out for it Brian!!! I feel the need to pick some olives.....

:o))) Bjs I do this with my 3d cards photo sideways, take a look at your last photo of your painting with you at the desk, its slightly taken from sideways and gives a lot more depth than the straight on photos of your painting.
