I appear to have given the impression that i have stopped painting, that is not the case and there are quite a few on Goy over the past 3 years.Just not putting them down on board or canvas right now
I have paint on my hands as i write this from painting Peter Rabbit for my Beatrix Potter collection due in the garden in spring(will show it when finished).
The following paintings are just to prove I am still active, less recent members may have seen it before,I am sure i posted it but not sure when.
They are painted on primed MDF board i cut to shape with a small electric saw.

The Church of St Marys is in a local village and in a week or so will surrounded by many thousands of Snowdrops.

For Poppylover As requested the church and snowdrops pics not painting sorry

I rescued & re-homed a Springer some years ago. Lovely ol boy who just would'nt 'stay' on command & bolted in a straight line until eventually you caught up with him, funny in the field but not near traffic. All my dogs were/are well trained so this one was a challenge. Found him a good home after I had bathed, wormed, de-flead & de-tangled & un-knoted his ears & coat. Happy dog. Your regal Springer painting reminded me of that rescue.

Love your paintings Brian, you are very artistic and talented. (I know you are modest and will probably shrink at that comment.) I would love to see a painting of the church with the snowdrops in bloom - it must be a wonderful sight.

These are very well done, like very much the pallet type format. I think you could sell these for a bob or two.

That church I saw a long long time ago as a student. Nice to see it again in your painting.that is very strange.
I will be impolite now, Brian, I apologize in advance.
With your forgetting (I am forgetting, too :) you reminded me one English joke. A guy wrote to London TV Channel 1: "Dear gentlemen, I saw a wonderful film on your channel, but do not remember exactly when it was. Unfortunately, I do not remember the title of the film either. Anyway, could you please repeat it again sometimes? Thank you!"

Bampy, can relate to all you say about the Springer, but you forgot to mention mud have just returned from walking/running him on frozen fields and he still came home feet black with mud I can only assume that the heat from his feet melt mud and ice on contact. He is now again clean for 5 minutes.

LoL, I thought we had the naughties, muddiest Spaniel that ever lived!! (he once de-stuffed a duvet!)
Lovely painting Brian, so well done.
I found Jazzypup had really rough pads after frolicking in the frost. I put aloe vera gel on her pads and next day they were all smooth again.....result!

Thank you Brian that church is really beautiful. The avenue of trees with snowdrops underneath is just crying out to be painted! If they did it in wallpaper Id have it in my bedroom!
