I agree with all the comments above, Brain, they are wonderful photos! The colour is so well achieved as well! The blue of Gentian must be one of the most difficult of blues to come out well! Generally, unless you have a very expensive, professional camera, digital cameras don't do the job nearly as well as film cameras!

I love your idea of making up a blog mostly with flowers of one colour - but every colour has so many different variations that you wonder why we don't have more names within each colour to accurately describe it! Gentian blue must be the truest blue of any blue but even then there are variations.
