... just found out tonight,that he has been a bit 'off' today..not eating much ,and been upset a few times..he wouldn't go in the play area,which is so not like him..think he is getting more teeth..Calpol was needed before bedtime.....

I used to make this 'marble cake' with the children ... brought back some lovely memories ... and I laughed in the face of Cholesterol on Friday ... had a dessert of lemon meringue pie with cream ... first 'naughty food treat' in a couple of months ... not feeling at all guilty either ... lol! .....

I don't take the tablets Bloomer I have those little yoghurty drinks...taste lovely and have oatbran and oat milk for breakfast with banana and grapes etc...mmmmmm delicious:-)

I'm making another Shirleytulip plum cake today...in baking mood at the moment. I bought a Breville cake mixer from J Lewis arrived yesterday. Not used it yet. Breville compact less than £50. Given my old hand held whisks to daughter Boo. I've had them about 30 years, family heirloom bought at an auction when Boo was little. Great excitement all round and she informed my mum , over the phone, that mummy has got new whiskers!! :-))

Baking again ? There will be no stopping you ,now you have got your new mixer..sounds good..I still have an old hand held mixer too,Ba..probably about the same age as your's,if not older..a free gift in the days when I used to run one of those pay monthly Catalogues...remember them ? Commission paid for it..:o) Ha ha about the 'whiskers'... don't you just love em? :o)

I'm going to give it a go now, let you know how I get on. Bet it won't last as long as my 'whiskers' I have a tumble dryer which must be well over 25 years old. Not at all complicated like todays so not much to go wrong. I'll give it a decent burial if it packs in, it's never needed any repairs :-)
