My garden pre holiday

Its so beautiful Cinders, its all full and lucious, how can you leave it? lol

I know, I don't really want to go, but I need a little break, and I'm sure I will be 'itching to get back'

Do you get someone to water for you while you're away?

Yes my next door neighbour will water all the pots, and also the plants in my greenhouse. Then I do it for them when they are away, its a good arrangement as we are both 'garden mad' so I know they will be well looked after.

I look after my friends cats and chickens and she waters for me. We need our friends :-)))

Thank you Spritz. Yes I am lucky, and I know it. All my neighbours look out for me, including a young lad across the road who looks after my car, pumps the tyres and checks everything. Thats what you get when living in a village I think,

Yes - I'd agree with that. If only our nearest neighbours would be ...shall we say...a little more helpful, it would make such a difference. Never mind - there are others not too far away who help out. It's also lovely to know everyone, isn't it. They keep an eye on things if we're out or away - and we do the same.

Exactly. If my curtains were not drawn back by a certain time they would come looking ! But when you live alone its very reassuring.
