Thanks Val. I don't think you would be disappointed. there are so many Heuchera in my garden they are taking over now.

29 Jun, 2011

Cinders, your heuchera have an abundance of flower stems on them...they must love your garden :) The Escholzia seeds sound like an easy one for me to try out. Glad you put up a photo and recommended them, Cinders.

You've got some gorgeous colour in your garden and the Aloha rose sounds so lovely with it's fragrant scent.

29 Jun, 2011

Thank you Jacquie, the Heuchera do seem to like it here. How are yours doing, haven't seen any pictures lately.

29 Jun, 2011

Yes, Cinders, I am going to take some piccies tomorrow as I'll be out in the garden planting up the goodies I bought today :)

I've been lax on writing blogs and posting photos...I'll get right onto it, Cinders...lol The grass has just had it's first cut and looks wonderful...so lush and green...very pleased with it. Some of my heuchera are doing very well, a couple are a bit sluggish to fill out but they're still growing, albeit slowly!

Somehow I have 'lost' the honeysuckle cutting you sent me...I am thinking I have mistakingly discarded it when I was gathering up the wrapping...so annoyed with myself!

29 Jun, 2011

I'll look forward to seeing your pics tomorrow then J.

I found another honeysuckle self set in the garden if you would like it. Its not very big, about 5 inches high. Wont be offended if you say no.

29 Jun, 2011

Love the Gertrude Jekyll rose, Cinders, I really MUST get one !

29 Jun, 2011

Lovely blog Cinders so colourful you have some beauties there and that Licorice colour is absolutely stunning.

29 Jun, 2011

Cinders....I wouldn't turn down a kind offer of a repeat honeysuckle :) I really could kick myself around the block for losing my first honeysuckle....it would have been growing well now! Thanks, Cinders. x

I'll get a blog and photos up pronto (I'm up way too late as it's now gone 2.30am on Thursday morning!!...I may regret this tomorrow).

30 Jun, 2011

There are some beautiful plants in your garden, Cinders. Love the very first Rose, Penny Lane. Thought of you while we were away, saw an enormous dark plum Heuchera in a pot ... lol! : o ))

1 Jul, 2011

Hi Shirley, thank you, I am really thrilled with Penny Lane, I just wish it had a nice perfume to it. Didnt you buy that plum Heuchera then ? Hope you feel rested and enjoyed your few days away.

Thanks Bill, yes I am happy with them. I keep wandering around amongst them all, trying not to miss anything. Sad isnt it !!

2 Jul, 2011

No it's not sad at all.. I was stood in the garden earlier and tried about 50 shots of one rose to try and get a good picture, that's sad lol

I`ve thoroughly enjoyed my wander round you`ve got some gorgious plants. I moved my Aloha this year and it hasn`t flowered anywhere as good as last, perhaps I expected too much so hope it does better next year.

4 Jul, 2011

Thank you so much. I hope mine will be ok next year, I am expecting great things !

4 Jul, 2011

Hi Cinders...a year later, I find this blog! I think my mystery rose is Gertrude Jekyll. searched all over and found my answer in a GoY friend's garden! Penny Lane is beautiful too... Love your heucheras...and the Escholzia.
Glorious garden.
