I can't grow these, Sylvia, so I'll have to just admire yours on here. I love the Falling Stars variety, it's gorgeous. I saw some in a GC this afternoon, priced FROM £6.99 each . . . .

I know Shirley, they are getting very expensive now. You probably overwater them. They don't like to be standing in water. Just give them enough that they can drink up and stop. I think Falling Stars is one of my favourites too. First one I ever bought. Hope mum is better.

Over the past twenty years or so I've killed off a fair few African Violets & Streps.! Boring old Spider plants thrive though ... lol! Mum is recovering really well, to the point of going out with me this afternoon to a Nursery. Thanks for asking after her. : o ))

Thanks Sixpence, I can't count how many I have now as I am always propogating more to sell at our country market.

Hywel I am sure they will be fine, so long as you don't overwater.

Thank you. I'll have to remember not to do that.

Specialist grower at Hampton Court Flower Show has the largest collection/variety of Streptocarpus. http://www.dibleys.com/ Fantastic display ! They hold the national plant collection of Strepto's.

Yes I know, I have dealt with them for many years, they always put on an excellent show, as do the British Streptocarpus Society.

Lovely Streps Cinders!
When I met up with you last year you kindly gave me Sylvia, Texas hot chilli and another which I have lost the name of, but all are doing well and the Heuchera are thriving. See you later in the year.

Hi Cinderella, did you ever find out the name of the one in the 6th photo down. I have one just like it. They are all beautiful, I have just put some bids in on ebay for 5 more to add to my collection of 8.

Hi Susie. I have been trawling the catalogues, and the nearest I can find, which does look the same, is 'Matthew'. Found that on one of the links from the British Streptocarpus Society site. Think thats what I will call it. I have never bought plants or anything else on ebay. Well done you, hope you get them.
