Thank you so much Sandra. The lilac phlox you sent me is also coming out today. It was a lovely surprise to see all those in flower. I was only away for five days, went to Chester, had a great time. I haven't entered the competition this year yet, but will have to defend my title won't I !! Wish this wind would stop so we can get on with planting out. Its still quite cold really.

A sight for sore eyes Cinders, you must have had quite a shock seeing all that colour, amazing what a few days of sunshine can do......dazzling!!

It was wonderful DD. We seem to have waited so long for it don't we. Have to get the lawn mowed tomorrow if the rain holds off, then I can take some pictures over all. We so badly need the warmth now.

Glad the phlox is doing ok..mine is better this year, than last..I know what you mean about the cold wind..I haven't started on any potting up yet!It has given 18 degrees for us tomorrow,,partly sunny/cloudy..but that will be a bonus..odd showers too,so I might be doing a bit of rain dodging :o((I just need to get out there..so frustrating isn't it?

Thank you Kidsgran.

I can see a flower arranger has been at work here the way the plants are placed. Good thinking for anyone with a
'bare canvas' garden to start on.

Thanks Diane. I have to admit it, I do like flowers arranged in a pretty fashion, but it just becomes automatic.

What a wonderful sight to be greeted by!

A very encouraging sight for you on your return. I see lots of nicely placed and happy looking Heucheras. I bought the Zebra one recently. Not as mature as your plant. A lot of my Heucheras looked very cowed after the severe winter but most have recovered well. I got a lovely big Plum Pudding at The Essex Garden show yesterday. Not such a choice as last year, winter I suppose. Anyway your garden pictures are, as usual, a real treat.

Thank you Xela.
Thank you Dorjac for your lovely comments on my garden. The H.Zebra I bought last year, and appears to be doing well. All mine looked dreadful after winter, but cut all the old leaves away and they are doing great now.

What a spectacularly beautiful and colourful lot of plants you have, love those heucheras and tiarellas, I've only got interested in them over the last few years, but they've rapidly grown on me! I'm really taken with your pots too, they all look gorgeous.

Bless you Louisa, thank you. The tiarella's are rather impressive aren't they, I love them. I'm pleased you like my pots too.
