Sorry about the empty pot, had to empty it as the dreaded vine weevil were found in it.
Clematis Haku Okan

Lovely pictures Cinderqs....garden full of colour.
I notice your Choisya is bright and has lots of flowers...Do you thinks it's better this year? I say that as mine is full of flowers and the leaves are just perfect, flawless and shiny. Most years they are much duller and some go brown but it's great his year!

Hi Cinders ..
your garden is looking beautiful ..
wonderful clematis and heucheras :o)

Thank you Diane, I can't be without my herbs. this clump is from last year and is already wanting to flower, so I have been picking it quite hard. That's a good idea to plant up your baby bath with herbs.
Paul, the choisya does have a lot of flower on this year, and there hasn't been so much browning of the leaves I agree. I cut it back very hard each year too.
Thanks Terra, I can't change the shape of the garden any more, just too much for me, but the colour is always good.

What a lovely lot of colour you have there Cinders. A result of much hard work I'm sure, it all looks very neat and tidy. If it were my garden I wouldn't want to change anything.
7 Jun, 2013
Thanks Poppy. I don't want to change anything really, it is manageable now within reason, so that's how it will stay.

You have a beautiful garden Cinders and yes it speaks for itself, very colourful and lovely choice of plants and shrubs..I do like the clematis all of them but especially Haku Okan.......
7 Jun, 2013
Thanks Lincs. Yes Haku Okan is a little bit different isn't it. I have had it about four years now, it was rescued from a reduced pile in garden centre looking very sorry for itself, but seems to have established now and is spreading out a bit this year.

Lovely photography, glad to see some fresh Parsley, as this contains more Vit.C than Citrus fruits.
Have just replanted my old baby bath, using new compost on the surface, so miss the fresh supply for a few weeks.
But it will be there all winter.
