October Colour

Grand - your cosmos is doing very well. Asters are good value at this time of year aren't they? I think ours are rather late flowering this year but none the worse for that. Lovely closeup of the salvia.

It is so uplifting to have some flowers at this time of year.

Looking good Dawn, your Salvia has pipped ours and I cannot any flowers developing......still it was new this year, we lost the old one last year.....

I have loads of black and blue salvia here in Eshowe, KZN, RSA. It becomes a nuisance as it spreads so easily. But it is a pretty space filler. I think I will take mine out the garden and plant it in pots rather, or even in tyres.

Its a joy to see so much colour around and your garden is no exception Dawn, its a real tonic especially when the sun is lighting them all up...

Thanks everyone. I love Salvia, our battle is getting them to survive Shery, rather than controlling their spread. I've collected seed and taken cuttings as I would hate to lose them.
