I saw this today in ‘Organic Matters’ August news letter and thought it might be of interest:
Live in Leicestershire? Your chance to become a Master Composter
Would you like to become an expert in composting and raise awareness of its benefits to the community?
Why get involved?
· Become a composting expert, help the environment and save money
· Help residents in your community to reduce the amount of organic waste that goes to landfill
· Meet new people, make new friends and get involved with your local community
· Opportunity to gain work experience in waste and environmental topics – this could include; attending events/ visiting schools and/ or community groups and giving demonstrations/ talks or writing articles.

They have these courses in California and my daughter is a " master composter". She has spoken to a class of children in school and they were spellbound.

Thats great Hank and glad it was of interest, I would have like to do it as I make my own compost (hot) and leaf mould (cold) and yesterday put 6 barrow loads of compost around my garden, very pleasing.
