Thanks Paul...
This is the raised bed at the end of my back garden, which, some years ago, I made from very heavy recycled brick sections...

Hello Shirley...
I had to trim a few dead leaves off the euonymus in the tub, but it still seems healthy enough...
A few of my front garden hebes look a little sad, but I think they might perk up when the weather improves....

Hebes are quite resilient ... I'm sure they'll be fine ... just looked outdoors and it's pouring down ... again! : o (

It looks lovely and full of live already! :) I am thinking of growing some aubrieta this year, is it good stuff? x
8 Mar, 2011
Hi Jennyfer ...
Thanks :o)
Yes, aubrieta is lovely...
I have lots of pics of aubrieta on my GoY photos...
here's an example ...
http://www.growsonyou.com/photo/slideshow/133294-my-front-garden-in-springtime/member/terratoonie
Also, if you click on A from the alphabet at the base of the page, that will then enable you to click on Aubrieta from the GoYpedia... I hope this helps :o)
Aubrieta seems to do well in neutral/alkaline soil, and with good drainage... water young plants with rain water... x

oh wow, it looks lovely, really nice colours :)) I was thinking of getting some "Royal mix" seeds and trying those; apparently they've won one of those shiney RHS medals...
I have visions of it tumbling down the old sandstone walls we have in the garden... although I may have to wait a few years for that :P
Thanks very much for the info, I'm working through the Goypedia album now :)
8 Mar, 2011
Good luck with your aubrieta, Jennyfer ...
... it soon spreads ... and another good point is that it flowers for quite a number of weeks...
Royal Mix sounds superb ! :o)
8 Mar, 2011
Thanks Terratoonie, I hope it does! :P
I was going to get just the "Royal Violet" at first, but figured the mix would hopefully give me that aswell as others :) I just can't wait to get home and get sowing now! :P
8 Mar, 2011
Yes, the mix should give you a good variety of colour ...
I sent you a p.m. about the variegated-leaf ones, as those are worth looking out for ...

How did I miss this? Beautiful, TT, and so neat and tidy. Your plants behave as well as Conker and Truffle :)
10 Mar, 2011
