Brightening up the garden. (Tulip)

It's great to see these early Tulips again, they make such a difference to the drab outlook of winter.

Thanks everyone...:)). I would really recommend these early tulips, they seem to pop up from nowhere, only about 6ins tall, so great for tubs too. Lol Scotcat, rhubarb and custard..perfect. I moved my rhubarb forcer a couple of days ago (not over rhubarb though as it killed it!) and there twirling around about 2ft tall and nicely forced, a group of tall tulips!

Hi Janey...What a welcome sight to have in your garden
after such a bad Winter...Yellow, is such a popular colour
at the moment in fashion too...Hmm..have noticed the
slug traces on the leaves Janey...I see your Daffs. are doing well too..Your garden is so contained, you must
spend lots of time tending it...Mind you, looking at this beauty it has been well worth it...x

Hi Freesia...lovely to see you here......yep lots of tiny slugs enjoying themselves each night......:(((. I had to laugh at your next comment, I haven't done a thing in the garden all winter, oh yes, I did mow the lawn yesterday, feels like spring is on the way now.....:))))

We've had a smashing weekend especially Saturday, sooo warm, it must be spring....:)))

They do Val, I forget about them too, so they're always a nice surprise. Thanks Val, all okay, just this last stage of treatment for Ian, then he can get on and recuperate. When this is done, it'll have been a whole year, he does seem to be strong enough to tackle everything thank goodness. Hope alls well with you too.

Thanks Lemondog...:o))

These really do stand out after the grey of our winter Junna, do you think they would grow in the Philipines? I've a feeling they do need a cold winter, these are treats for us as usually we have a long, cold and damp winter...:o((

16 Mar, 2012

Maybe in our summer capital BAGUIO and TAGAYTAY they would grow, they have a cold climate, but in some parts of the Phil. like in our place , i doubt it ! Yes, Janey , i envy of the snow , sometimes i imagine what does it feel to be surrounded by ice cold , Brrrrrrr!!im sure i cant move! hehehe! till here, take care, Janey!
