Indoor games on rainy days ...

Thats a good idea, i've still got cat toys around as like Conker & Truffles, Tilly & Jack hate going out in rain, plus they dont like wind at all.xx

I find the plant troughs indoors are ideal ...
I guess would be good for Tilly and Jack's toys too ... xx

I think one would be great, when i find one i like for indoors i will get one....xx

Just like kids.. they too play with the old things or the boxes the new things arrive in! lol!

... but a game of tug-rope sometimes results in Conker dragging Truffle around the floor à la John Sergeant in the Paso doble ...Lol.

My dogs wouldn't go out in the rain with Blodyn... they don't like the wet weather much... but the rain water is superb for the hair of Shetland Sheepdogs ... makes Conker's coat look extra good :o)

Do you wash Conker's fur in rain water TT ?

No, I don't bath Conker .. he stays clean naturally ...
but I do wash his feet sometimes ..

... Conker only needs to walk in the rain to get the benefit for his coat... but some Sheltie owners put rain water into a water-spray bottle, and use that on their dogs' hair to make it look lovely ...

I think I'll have to wash Blodyn. She's been rolling in the dusty soil. She looks grubby

I suppose her having the white fur, any dust is easy to notice.

Lovely to see Conker and Truffles getting on so well together. I was walking along the beach whilst on holisay last week and someone's labrador nearly knocked me over and she didn't bother then it ran over and attacked a small dog. Some people........

Oh Hywel I had to wash our lovely Henry cat once (now gone) He howled the place down......hated it. Started shaking too. He went next door but one when they were doing it up. Got smelly chemical all over his paws. I had to stand him in water to get it off. Before he started cleaning himself. What a fuss. Everyone seems to have rain now Terra...just when you start the next job in the garden.

Glad you were able to wash lovely Henry, Dorjac, despite his protests ! Lol.
A couple of hot days ahead before the rains arrive !

They missed the hot day that wasn't.....Saturday. Dull till 3pm....;) Sunday is lovely blue sky, but not too hot yet, thank goodness. Done my hand watering just in case Terra. I would/will hate 30 degrees.

Here in Essex we could do with a couple of rainy nights now. 2 or 3 hot, sunny days in a row soon dry us up after that long drought. I went out and watered early from what is left in the butts.....all good exercise.
