10 Jul, 2012
I love this plant so much, unfortunately don't think mine seeded around at all :-( its a bit of a case of wait and see, I had it growing with another eryngium and as you know Amy the leaves on this don't change silver till the year it flowers,at the moment they all look the flippin same, lol, I'm still hoping.
Lovely picture Amy :-)

If I have seed I'll let you have some back Kathy , do you remember another one you gave me I called it Sillybum LOL... it shed it's seed everywhere the first year this year not one to be seen , odd that !
10 Jul, 2012
Hi Motinot ,I didn't find it difficult ,If I have some seed when the time is right to collect it , I will let you know !
10 Jul, 2012
Oh crikey yes Amy the Blessed Mary Thistle, it self seeded here and grew better than the ones I sowed!!!!, I have one in the garden now nearly 5ft tall!!!! totally the wrong place right near the hedge but its such a fabulous plant I've left it, love the foliage, I'll collect you some more seed from it when its finished flowering.
I'd love a little bit of seed back of this if you get some please, thats the great thing about sending plants and seeds to friends on here, if you loose yours you know it'll be growing somewhere else in the country ;-))

That's beautiful Amy and if we had some sunshine it would be covered with Bees :-)
17 Jul, 2012
Thanks all , Dawn if I get some good seed I will send you some , Motinot I think spring is a good time to sow but if I have enough seed I often sow some when I think the plants would be shedding it's seed naturally in the autumn having two small lots on the go gives you a double chance of germinating some plants ..
I will put you down for some seed Carole if all goes well and I get some good seed :o)
The Bees have found them today Muddy !
