I love the shape of the bells on this winter flowering Clematis.....snow drops!

It is lovely isn't it Louise.........this is the first year it has flowered lower down, normally its sky high on the wall top.

Yep its great for Winter interest then the rest of the year a habitat for birds nesting and insects hiding....:o) Amy's Cirrhosa Freckles is of the same type and is another great winter bloomer.....lol!

Yes, I took a photo of several Wisley Cream flowers on 4th September... not the best of pics, so I didn't put it on GoY.. it had already been in bloom for a couple of weeks.!!

No, it is on a trellis which has been in position for several years.. In fact it is sending up new runners all over the place... I found it had grown roots underground and then put shoots all through my Pieris Forest Flame... I had to unwind it all from the branches ! Lol.

It must be in the perfect spot TT.......mine is an old one and intertwined with lots of climbers...not too many flowers to come but lovely even so....:o)
