How can this be?

Back on the 23rd April I showed a pic of my Easter Cactus plant which was covered in pretty pink starry blooms.
When the flowers finished I did nothing special, just left it in the same position in the conservatory & kept it moist, after a few weeks I noticed pink tips appearing that at the ends of the flat ‘leafs’ & a few more weeks later I realised these were not new leaflets but another crop of flowers.
Although not as spectacular as the first ones they are still amazing to me. There are 16 of them this time.
I can’t believe it is flowering again exactly 2 months later.
Is this usual? What do you think?

They often get a second flush. It's a nice gentle shade :)

Thanks Hywel, I didn't know that & was certainly not expecting this 2nd flush so soon.

Indeed Amy, I think so too - now will it flower for me next Easter, that'll be the test.

Wow, HB, wonder if that's a record. I only expected my Easter cactus to only flower at Easter.

What a delightful surprise for you! Mine finished flowering some weeks ago but it shows no sign of repeating the experience! Yet the Christmas Cacti have on the odd occasion flowered again after the main flush was over.

Wow, that is a really pretty flower. What luck that it's flowered twice. :-)
