End of Season sell off

The Garden House is a beautiful open garden quite near my home with a small plant sale area. Every year about this time they have a 40% reduction in plant sales, and I usually manage to pick up some real gems. A lot of their plants are fairly unusual, and this year didn’t disappoint. I managed to get these new ones
Ypsilandra Thibetica
Disporopsis pernyi (an evergreen Solomon Seal)
Corydalis ‘Berry Exciting’
Liriope Variegata
They will all sit nicely in my new shade area :)))
they don’t look very impressive at the moment, but I’m looking forward to them growing next year :))

I've seen the Garden House on television in the past. Had a very innovative head gardener expanding the garden at a great pace - have always wanted to visit since seeing it, determined to make it some day.

I've just read this blog of yours grindle. We've been several times to the Garden House wonderful place. Last year I went to Wildside garden, also stunning, Keith Wiley, being the chap that used to work at Garden House. His garden featured on Landscape Man, but he didn't come over very well, not like he realy is. Got some good plants there at Garden House Grindle they should be settled in now.

Wildside garden has been on my list since watching Landscape Man - also Garden House. Keith Wiley first inspired me to 'lift the skirts' on some of my shrubs.

thanks Pam, Wildside is on my list to see gardens, only just up the road from me. I love the Garden House gardens, and their sell off in October always turns up some little gems :)
I'm lifting my skirts too Wagger LOL
