Its a year ago today since my Mother died, its been a hard year, but things are better now, I took a cutting of one of mums roses it looks like a wild rose but a bit different don’t know its name.
So it was nice to see on her anniversary that the flowers have come out today…

How nice and comforting to have the rose flower on the anniversary. The first year is always the hardest.

How lovely that the rose is flowering on the anniversary and it doesn't matter about its original name, what nicer name could there be than 'Mum's Rose'?

That's such a pretty rose, Holly, and lovely that it's in flower for the anniversary.

I think thats a strongly scented Rose. Used to know a
hedge of them and stop to sniff them.

How lovely for the rose to flower today ... It's beautiful, and nice that you have been able to grow it. I don't think it's a wild one either. I remember once seeing it in a Garden centre and thought of buying it.

It is a lovely rose Holly(Rosa glauca). My mom died long time ago and I still think about her. We never forget, but the pain and sadness will drift away in time. You have a beautiful memory rose.
