Sorry I haven’t been on here since last week, and missed your blogs and photos. I’ve been feeling tired and unable to concentrate on things …
but not so bad now again :o)
I’ll try to catch up if I can :o)
Here are some photos of my Michaelmas Daisies. I thought you’d like to see them.
I think they’re a bit late this year, but they’ve put on a good show eventually :-
They look nice with other plants too :o)
I’ve bought two new ones this year, but they haven’t flowered :o(
Maybe next year …

Wonderful show,do you get a a lot of powdery mildew on them Hywel.Sorry you've been tired lately.

Thanks :o)
When I lived in the other house they used to get it, but not here.
The other house was in a very wooded area, so I don't know if that contributed to the mildew. Up here it's more open with lots of fields.

Glad they don't get it now,I've got it on my lupins it's a real pain.

How beautiful! I only have self-seeded common-or-garden
types, rather pale and straggly. I still like them, though! Yours are lovely.

Coooeeee Hywel these are beautiful flowers aren't they? Have you noticed how the bees just adore them. Mine are the common lilac ones and still they are covered in bees and insects every single day, mine have gone a little wild but I don't mind that if it helps our creatures survive. :)

Lovely Micks Hywell. I have some tall ones that Spooks brought when he decided to grace our garden. I didn't plant them, he must have done it! Do they get mildew when it is very dry perhaps? Ours made a good show this years. No where near as good as yours.

Mine don't suffer from mildew in this garden. They had it where I lived before coming here. I thought it was damper there though ...
Anyway it's not nice when they have mildew.
The rain has spoilt mine now too :o(
