A hopeless memory :(

I think I promissed someone some fuchsia cuttings last year, but I can’t remember who it was.
Maybe it was two people, or more …
Please could that someone (or those someones) remind me who they are ?
I’m sure I’ll remember when my memory is jogged …
My fuchsias are not very good this year but I will try to get some cuttings for the person/persons concerned.
I should have written it down but I’ve been rather preoccupied with Beryl’s health problems lately and everything else (including the garden) has had to take a back seat :(
Here’s a photo of some of them, with a few Pelargoniums etc, in the little covered area outside the back door … I put them there for Beryl to see because she can’t go down the garden now.
And here are a few by the front door, so that she can see them when we go out …
I would be very grateful if someone could help me remember who I promised the fuchsia cuttings to.

Sorry to hear that Beryl isn't too well. Those fuschias are gorgeous, she must get a lot of pleasure from looking at those.

Lol Hywel, join the club. Do you find that even if you write things down you forget to look at your notes, or lose them?
I'm sorry to hear that Beryl is still having problems. Its so thoughtful of you to put plants where she can see them.
Hope you get a little time to put your feet up sometimes.

Please pass on good wishes to Beryl, and don't worry, it wasn't me! (I don't think)... had to chuckle at all the posts expressing agreement about "senior memory" LOL!

I find Ferroglobin casules very helpful Hywel. They
are gentle iron and small amounts of other necessary vitamins. I have one a day before my lunch meal.
Might help Beryl. ( £5 a packet.)

A wonderful display of a bright mixture of plants. Lovely to see lots of pots arranged together.
Kind wishes go to you and to Beryl.

So no one can help me then ... well maybe I didn't promise anyone any cuttings after all ... lol :D

So sorry to hear Beryl cannot get down the garden. She must have a beautiful view out of the window, though.
My fuchsias haven't done so well this year either, although a couple I'd almost given up on have recently produced buds and are beginning to flower. There's plenty of foliage on most of them, but very little else ?

So sorry to read that Berly is having health problems but must be so nice to be able to see so much colour from the house. It looks stunning.
Oh and it wasn't me as I only joined this year :-).
I too have to write myself lists but then I would lose the paper they written on so I now have a pad in conservatory and it stays there and I never take pages out of it. As my mother would say, I would lose my head if it wasn't screwed on.

Dont know if it helps but in your blog Aug 5th 2015 you and Steragram had a discussion about cuttings?

Thank you Drc. Hywel did offer me a cutting but it was of a tender one and I try to get only hardy ones, having no greenhouse because of the wind... I do have several grown from his cuttings though...

It may have been me but I honestly can't remember! Seriously though, not nice when your memory plays tricks...I lost mine for a while some years back following a car crash...went back to work...couldn't remember my job! All came back in the end (I think).
Best Wishes to you and yours, Hywel...must be hard on both of you. Well done for dreaming up ways of getting round those difficulties that life presents.

I love your Fuchsias, Hywel, but I can't remember either if you offered to do some for me! LOL!
Just these last couple of weeks I have taken a few & in one pot it seems at least one or two have rooted. These are for my brother who says he likes them very much but doesn't have any. I'll keep a couple, as backups, for myself if they root.
Just last week I took a cutting of 'Lady Boothby' as I only have the one plant & I would like a backup as well.
Hope Beryl is looking up by now. Regards to you both.
