Well, it looks like its gone on its holidays and won’t be back for a while so I’ve taken some more photo’s and I’ll try to remember what I had said.
Well its really an update on how things have been progressing here on planet Digs
The potato beds are doing well, they are lying down having a rest
Lettuce are just filling up the whole bed, They are yummie.
Peas are sooooo tasty
And the tomatoes are catching up (second lot due to a fence panel chopping the heads off the first lot)
This is the second sowing of peas :~)) I can’t resist
And my mega onions are huge!!!
I’ve even got a double header !!
Here, Your in the wrong blog. You should be in the next one, through that door, second on the left. Delphiniums! Huh got no idea where they are.
New strawberry plants, looking grand.
Well thats the tour around my little plot, I’m afraid the ‘gift shop’ is now closed to the public due to reconstruction and stock taking, (some little toe rag keeps taking the stock! )

Nice healthy looking vegetable patch Ian. Sorry, not found your other blog. Have you phoned the police station in case sioomeone found it and handed it in?? It didn't work with my car key the other week but worth a try.
I have a veg patch at one of my customers' garden.Well it's like an allotment really. Troubl;e is, I've been so busy and tired that I've not been for two weeks although John (the owner) usually waters the patch for me. So, goodness knows what it will look like when I go tomorrow. Should be pounds and pounds of spuds to harvest as well as Peas(if they've left me any, as we share the produce) and Beetroot. Might take some pics if it's not in too much of a mess! Nice blog, it's good to see other's plots!

Hi Paul, Thanks for that, I would like to see your plot whatever state its in ! I'm more interested in the veg than the weeds :~))
By the way, how did the B. tests go? I worry sometimes when people don't get themselves sorted out. Thats how I ended up in casualty, by ignoring my symptoms. :~((
Good luck and best wishes......Ian

Thanks for your concern Ian. I went to surgery yesterday and asked re test results but they're not back yet. (I thought they would have been in 7 days)
Although I don't want to have any illness, I want the tests to show up something, as I can't carry on feeling like this without getting it treated. It's affecting everything including my work. I just feel like a Zombie with no energy all day. I sometimes struggle to say what I want to as I'm so exhausted! Still, I 'll have to wait and see!

Keep at them mate, It's important especialy as your feeling so low. you might let it slip (if you know what I mean!)
9 Jul, 2009
Yes, I'll try again early next week Ian.
9 Jul, 2009
You have great looking vegetables Ian ( unlike mine. lol )
9 Jul, 2009
Thanks Hywel, I do enjoy growing veg, but my flowers don't come anywhere near yours :~))
10 Jul, 2009
Your veggies are all coming along great Ian..... you will be eating well..........
10 Jul, 2009
I always do Holly, but I know what you mean :~)) I've just dug up another row of potatoes and there must be about 5-6 lb, I'm sorry but I don't know what that is in modern!! :~))
10 Jul, 2009
A couple of kilos, in "round figures"! Nice blog - sorry about the other one, must have gone AWL!
I have some tomatoes & strawberries growing on my balcony. A few years ago I grew spuds but they take up far too much space for too long with too little reward for my balcony.
I've already had some strawberries but the tomatoes will take a lot longer - if I get any as this year they are not doing nearly as well at this time, as photos of other years I have on my computer show!
11 Jul, 2009
Hi all, I weighed those spuds and there was 10.5 lb so my estimation was way off. (Still couldn't tell you what that is in modern) :~))
11 Jul, 2009
A rough guide is 2lbs=1kilo. This is a VERY rough guide but just between friends & only when talking in very round estimates, this is by no means meant to be taken seriously. So your 10lbs of spuds is roughly 5kilos. Just divide your lbs by 2 or multiply your kilos by 2!
11 Jul, 2009
Thanks Balcony, I have never been able to keep this in my head. I can never remember if its 2 kilos to the pound or the other way on. LOL :~))

I know what would win, too, Ian, if I had to choose, but, like yourself, am on the waiting list for an allotment. Gr8-looking veggies! :-)
17 Jul, 2009
Cheers again David, Am I following you ?? :~))
17 Jul, 2009
