Happy St Patties Day to you Irish. What just one Guinness? - I've seen your bucket of bottles ready for planting. May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be at your back ... May the sun shine warm upon your face, may the rain fall softly on your fields ...
Hope you have a great day.

Happy St.Patrick,s Day to you Eileen , I don,t need an excuse for a Guiness .. I love it , with a shamrock on the surface , I also like a drop of blackcurant in it , The best I can remember having was in a little village called Sneem on the Ring of Kerry ... :o)

The Fiddler of Dooney by William Butler Yeats (1865-1939)
When I play on my fiddle in Dooney,
Folk dance like a wave of the sea;
My cousin is priest in Kilvarnet,
My brother in Moharabuiee.
I passed my brother and cousin:
They read in their books of prayer;
I read in my book of songs
I bought at the Sligo fair.
When we come at the end of time,
To Peter sitting in state,
He will smile on the three old spirits,
But call me first through the gate;
For the good are always the merry,
Save by an evil chance,
And the merry love the fiddle
And the merry love to dance:
And when the folk there spy me,
They will all come up to me,
With ‘Here is the fiddler of Dooney!'
And dance like a wave of the sea

Happy St. Paddy's Day Eileen. Have a Guiness for me too...
Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!

Aye this got me thinking Eileen as many find guinness too bitter so many drinks have been added to it ( sacrilege in my opinion ) and they all have special names ;
Black Velvet - Guinness and champagne
Poor mans Black Velvet - Guinness and cider
Black Russian - Guinness and vodka.
Erm Guinness and port together also have a special name
suggest you dont try asking for it at the bar lol
Hope you had a great day Slainte murghat hope I spelt that right x

Happy St Pat's Day ..Irish !
GOD KEEP MY JEWEL THIS DAY FROM DANGER
From tinker and pooka and black-hearted stranger
From harm of the water and hurt of the fire
From the horns of the cows going home to the byre
From teasing the ass when he's tied to the manger
From stones that would bruise and from thorns of the briar
From evil red berries that waken desire
From hunting the gander and vexing the goat
From depths o' seawater by Danny's old boat
From cut and from tumble --- from sickness and weeping
MAY GOD have my jewel this day in his keeping.
