Quick lunch break…feeding the ducks.

I stopped off for a quick break in one of the villages yesterday. Well, before long…the ducks came waddling over to the car.
I’m lucky my patient was offering lunch later…the ducks had my sandwiches! Well, I couldn’t resist sharing, or should I say giving all of my lunch away! It was worth it…

I agree with everyone Kate! Lovely photos!
We have a boating lake here and is always full of ducks, swans and geese!
The children love to feed them all and it's nice to watch!

Thanks everyone for all your lovely comments! Apologies, I've had a couple or 3 hectic days at work! Not enough hours in the day 😁
I have patients in this village in the past, and it's a nice little area around the little river with all the different ducks. I was just surprised how far my sandwiches went!!! I was sat a short while emailing and contacting other patients. I watched as some of rhe ducks waddled up on to the drives opposite..obviously they know where to go to get a bite to eat!!! 😊🦆

I can picture them doing that waddling along..LOL.
Made me think back to when we were allowed to feed the ducks in the meadows, there was a lovely lady used to go every working day down to feed them, most people in town knew her as she worked at the local cinema, anyway, some of the ducks started to follow her home, if she didn't turn up for some reason, they would march up through town, across the busiest of roads to her house, it was ever so comical to see them, I kid you not, it is easily more than a mile and half to her house, local neighbours kids used to escort them back to safety of the meadow, I think she used to pay sometimes, although they liked doing it, made quite a sight to see, if I remember correctly the story made it into our local paper..

Thanks Sue - me or the ducks? 😂
I had a lovely lunch with my new patient and spouse! It was very kind of them…the ducks - I think they are spoilt by all the people in the village methinks!
