The Fabulous Peterhof

I thought you might like to see the gardens of Peterhof, the summer Palace of the Tsars in St.Petersburg, Russia. We were there about three years ago staying with our son-in-laws parents. Russia is a an amazing country and spending time in the home of ordinary Russian people was probably better than staying in a hotel. Our son-in-law has been married to our daughter for over six years now and lives in leafy Hampshire. He is a keen gardener and is always picking my brain for advice that I`m also glad to provide if I can.

I digress, Peterhof is said to rival Versailles for its beauty and even though I`ve never visited that part of France I can`t compare. I hope you like the photos.
