I hope folk in this house appreciate my efforts, its rained a lot this week so I`ve been busy indoors, today its been quite good and we`ve only had one shower, have I been in the garden as you`d expect.
Nope!!!!!! I `ve been good and carried on indoors, as you can see I`ve been busy stripping the wallpaper…
Horrible job but needs must I`m afraid, only the ceiling to strip now, thank goodness..
I did take the camera for a wander during one of my tea breaks though..
As you can see the Viburnam has recovered from its short back and sides that I gave it…
This bed is under the apple tree and all the flowers are trying to reach the fruit, its full of Asters, Cosmos, Dahlias and Gladioli, all taking ages to flower, the sweetpeas however have been very good this year, I pick them every second day and take them indoors, the perfume is gorgeous..
I`ve finished indoors for the day and the sun is out so I`m off down the garden, I`ve earned some ME time, lol….

Hi Bamboo, its a horrible job and I`m working on my own, I learnt many years ago not to let hubby loose with the decorating, he`s ok with painting but too heavy handed with the wallpapering, its two sheets up and three on the floor I`m afraid and its expensive enough as it is, lol, if I win the lottery tomorrow I`ll let someone else carry on..

I hate stripping and papering, but I love painting walls, so rather you than me, Lincslass - hope you're going to publish the finished result.

Well done you. My sweet peas have only just started to flower, mind you, I was very late with them. Garden looking good Lincs Jx

That was a long tea break, Lol.
Dont blame you though, I would want to be out there all the time.
Love that first piccy of the whole garden, what a lovely view to look out on :-)

I think you are very noble giving up garden time to strip ...it really is one of the worst jobs in the house. It has no reward unlike decorating 'cos it looks worse once you've done it. So well done you. Your garden is looking great. Is that magnificent willow in your garden or is a 'borrowed' one? I love your sweetpeas, they look lovely, making me wish I'd grown some this year:-)

Sweetpeas obviously like our summer Jane, my everlasting ones are still producing masses of flowers as well.
I had to force myself to go back indoors Willi, lol..
Ba you are so right, the state of the walls now the paper has gone will be the incentive to get the job done, the Weeping Willow is in our garden, I have a love/hate relationship with it, I love to see it swaying in the wind but hate the mess it makes dropping fronds all the time, plus the fact it drinks all the moisture out of the ground, every few years I root prune it, thats a tough job but its determined to get at our bottom pond, lol...
Thanks Pixi, if I disappear you`ll know I`m lost amongst the wallpaper..

Rather you than me, Lincs! I let hubby get on with the decorating and I would probably paste each strip of paper for him. Your gardens looking lovely.
