Eden Project.. Part one...

My hubby and I treated ourselves to a holiday in Cornwall this year, had a great time despite the fact that my hubby was badly affected by hay fever for the first time in his life and was quite poorly for a few days, whilst there one of the days was spent at the Eden Project, it was a very soggy rainy day as you can tell by my pics and hubby was having problems with his breathing so although we had paid in advance for our tickets it was decided I’d go in on my own, to be truthful I thoroughly enjoyed myself as there was no-one trying to hurry me along….
I know we are pleased to see the bees doing their work amongst our flowers but that one was a tad too big for my liking..
Ah thats good I’ve found the plant shop, well you have to don’t you….
I know all the plants grow well in this valley but really wish they hadn’t enlarged all the creatures as well, I know its not real but stilLnearly fell backwards into the water when I came across this one, lol……
Hope you enjoyed the outside, I’ll show you inside the domes in part two……

I saw this many years ago before it was completed, we had a brilliant holiday, myself and the two youngest in a tent for two weeks, wow it was hot and sticky down there that year, but what a brilliant place and a brilliant holiday we had. We only viewed the construction from the car park and it was amazing then so this is lovely to see the finished project even with the giant creatures. lol :O) Thank you look forward to seeing part two. :O)

It all looks very lush there(a wet spring /summer in Cornwall, I guess) It's a fascinating place but not my favourite day out when we were in Cornwall(I suppose it's a bit too scientific for me but interesting, none the less) Did you visit Lost Gardens Of Heligan????? We went there in the pouring rain and the next day we had bright sunshine at Eden(back in 2008)

We visited when it was first opened so it was great to go back after all these years and I loved it, 400 plus photo's and some videoing, lol....
Paul we did Heligan last Friday in gorgeous sunshine, thats another blog to come...

I will look forward to your next few blogs then Lincs - what a treat. Glad you enjoyed the Eden project. It all looks very mature now and really well managed. I must admit though, Heligan really captured my heart - even though it was quite a few years ago.

Its changed so much since I went, we were told to go early, before the coach parties, then in the dome its not such a hot shoe shuffle.
Sorry oh couldn't go but the humidity is difficult in there, do they still have escape routes iff you need a quick exit?
Looking forwards to your next blogs x

I really enjoyed looking at your pics Lincs - pity that it was raining. I get hurried around too - I'd much prefer to be on my own!! A shame he suffered with hayfever - strange that this is the first time he's been affected.
Will be looking forward to part 2.

Pam I accidently found an escape route, found myself at the back of one of the restaurants and couldn't find my way back in, luckily a young fella came out and he let me back in via the kitchen, I felt a right plonker but he just laughed and said not to worry...
Scottish hubby was fine on the sunny days, it was the cloud and damp that did it, he is afraid of heights as well so I had to do Tintagel on my own as well.

Some of your pics were ones we took too,but I must have missed that last one.. wow,he's a big un ! we didn't have time to go in the plant shop,or maybe my OH planned it that way:o)
Sorry your poor OH was feeling poorly..it's strange how hay fever can start at any time in life..hope he is feeling better now..the pollen count has been very high lately though..we can't win,can we?
Thanks for some nice memories..lovely to see it again :o)
