What do you do when you need your wellies out just to paddle down the yard..
Its easy, catch up on Goy and pretend your outside by looking at pics in between watching the birds who are very active today as I’m stuck indoors..
First pics taken earlier in the week when we thought summer had arrived.
I really must move that little yellow one, its getting swamped.
Isn’t it pretty, a gift, thankyou Brian, as you can see it has a special place, lol….
I did manage a quick trip out between deluges and the roses are holding their own as you can see…Least I haven’t got to lug the watering can about, if anything they need a hairdryer, lol….
Hoping its nice sometime for the Bank Holiday, enjoy your weekend whatever the weather…

I know just what you mean, Sue ! I've just finished doing my blog which I have been meaning to do for ages ! It has just rained and rained here, including thunder and lightening ! Your garden looks really lovely.

It looks lovely Lincslass :O) very pretty. Your delphiniums are way ahead of mine the flowers are only just starting to show on mine. I put some seeds in my little green greenhouse but not showing through yet supposedly pink delphiniums and I was hoping to get at least one plant from a packet. :O( ah well back to the drawing board. Cheered me up seeing all those lovely colours in the garden, thank you :O)

All the same looking at all those lovely flowers you have to admit summer has come. Hope your pretty pond has not overflowed with all the rain.

Wow Lincs! Are you sure you've not jumped into a time machine and took us bang spank into the midlle of summer!! What and incredible amount of colour. Love the last shot - it looks so tranquil.

I love that last shot too, the garden is looking so pretty, lets hope the flowers hold back a wee bit, after all it is still only MAY.

Its amazing really how they have managed to look so good, they should really be bedraggled the amount and force of the rain thats been coming down, the bottom pond has overflowed a couple of times, just hope the taddy's stayed well down, the fishpond tilts slightly, it happened many years ago after we had a drought followed by a very long wet winter, never have got round to fixing it, therefore it overflows gently without causing any major problems..

Lovely blog Lincs your garden looks lovely :-)
I'm looking out at flattened plants thinking why didn't I stake that!!! there's one huge delphinium outside the kitchen window that's stayed upright so I'm off out there with a stake right now lol.
I love that last shot too, but still think you should swap that heron for my real one ;-))

Wow, Lincslass, your garden is way ahead of mine and looking gorgeous with it.

Yes its back to indoors again Lincs, my poor roses are being battered about something rotten.
The upside is you have a beautiful garden to look out on and all the work you did on the pond is showing rewards.

Wow, Lincs! You seem to be well ahead of many of us with your glorious garden. What a delight.
I've been in London for since Wednesday, returning last night to find many things flattened or broken by the heavy rain and winds. I do my best but never seem to get some things staked properly before it's too late. On the plus side, I am amazed by how many things have opened up in that short time. Swings and roundabouts, as ever. It was warm-ish this morning but now it's cold, wet and windy once more and we're still having to put the central heating on for a few hours!

Such a lot of colour in your garden Sue - very pretty.
Seems to me it's April showers in May in parts of the country! We have had a dry and sunny day today - tidied out the garage and did a tip run - mowed all the grass at Mums after lunch. Sun and showers for the next couple of days. :o(

Lovely Links, particularly like the pond panorama, but I think we will all have blogged ourselves to death by the time the sun comes out.

I'm absolutely cream-crackered, its still flipping raining so today has been a day out in Leicester, many of you know how much shopping appeals to me, my girls walked my little legs off, my poor little tootsies are burning, on the upside we treated ourselves for lunch and I do now have a pair of very comfy shoes, I'd bought them ready for my holiday but they ended up on my poor tired feet, lol....
Give me a hard days graft in the garden anytime....

So pretty. It never fails to surprise me how different our gardens are, but they have one thing in common: we love them!
