September Colour In My Garden...

We are having some beautiful days and the garden is looking pretty good considering it hasn’t been tended so carefully during the past few months, okay I do have a lot of weeds that I’m hoping to clear before the winter but they don’t show amongst my plants and the colour is still there to cheer me up, feeling a lot stronger in myself and another day of treatment out of the way I had a wander around with my camera..+
There is an Autumn look in parts and plenty of deadheading to do but all things considered its not too bad, lol………….

That's the nice thing about dense planting......not so much room for the weeds.and, lots of plants to provide lots of colour.

Well done for going round the garden with your camera Sue ... still plenty of colour showing. In the 3rd to last photo, the blue flowers, are they Delphiniums? Mine became slug and snail food! :o(

I have dense planting and I have weeds that grow on top of my plants. Yes on top. Forgot the name of it at present but it was an import from Japan that is infesting us. It was used, dried, as a packing for Japanese porcelain imports to the USA and eventually seeded us. Lincs, it is wonderful to see you enjoying your garden. I find that when the bad stuff happens it all disappears when I go into my garden and I hope it does for you too.

It's looking great,Sue..and I love the view of your pond area, and you have so much in flower just now..We are having a lovely display of colours just now, aren't we? So glad to hear you are feeling a stronger after your recent bad spell..keep on doing a little at a time, regarding the weeds..as long as you can still enjoy the rest of it,that's the main thing :o) x

Shirley they are Delphiniums, I am lucky as the slugs and snails never eat them, this is the third time they have flowered this year, I have a cherry one that has also started into regrowth but I dont think we'll be lucky enough to actually see more flowers on that one this year..
Pam I have quite a few primulas that have begun to flower, some auricullas and rockery plants as well, the weather is confusing them all, I am hoping it stays good for a few weeks, expecting delivery of tulips next month and it will be much more enjoyable to plant them up in the sunshine....

L'strife and Paul, I am all for dense planting, it hides a multitude of sins, lol, it there is a gap I always feel the need to fill it, I too find the garden is the best therapy and yes I do put my world to rights whilst out there...

That's nice Sue - different shots from what I remember before. You still have some grand roses - I bet they cheer you up. What's the peachy flower growing with the cosmos? Not too much weeding yet , you are more important than a few weeds...
