Spring has arrived along with the colours....

Well we might be running late compared to the last few years but it was worth waiting for..Saying that I did have a very good display of Hellebores this winter, they didn’t appear until February but did me proud.
Once started the flowers have continued, I might not have liked the weather but my garden did…
The Poached Egg flowers have surprised me as they continued right through the winter, other years there would have been no signs of even the foliage…
A walk around with the camera…
Acers and my Heuchera pot on the edge of the bottom pond which I’m pleased to say is full of frogspawn..
I’m really pleased with my Stumpery, You cannot see by the photo but all of my ferns have taken, so watch this space…
Storm Doris destroyed my old arch so we had to remove it last year, whilst at it we dug out the winter clematis, it really was a thug, hubby treated me to a new garden arch for xmas, we’ve had to wait for the garden to dry out before we could build it and put it in situ, that was what we did on Sunday, the red climbing rose that was in front of the Hibiscus has now been moved over to the opposite side of the arch, surprised me how easy it was to dig out and then replant, was only out of the ground for an hour at the most so should be okay, I have planted new winter clematis to grow up the side near the Hibiscus and some everlasting sweetpeas, that way I’ll hopefully have flowers in the summertime and next winter….
Taken from my bedroom window by one very happy gardener….

Great - it all happens eventually! I specially loved those yellow pansies peering over the edge of the container, all looking straight ahead

The colour in your flower bed is stunning, it's only April and it's so bright! The Red Robin (I assume) is brilliant, mine is shedding leaves everywhere which I hope is natural and not a dying thing!
Like Stera I loved the Pansies and the pond looks lovely and healthy, pretty and quite a feature.
Love the new arch, might invest in one of those to prop the apple branch up which I really should cut off, but it looks good overhead. I envy you your greenhouse, we only have a derelict one and one minus the glass/sheeting, tried to put it in but the wind caught it, so obviously not in the right place.
Are they Marigolds near the pond?

Glad your stumpery is doing well. As I started read I thought about it so was chuffed that it was included ?. There is so much colour in your garden already. Looks really pretty.

It does one's heart good to see all the colours in your garden. It looks as if the plants have decided to make up for our mixed weather.

Spring is here at last Sue and your garden is looking lovely. I think I can see your new arch. It's going to be nice when the plants grow up it.

Just when we can't stand anymore snow, the spring colors come. Very cheerful.

No wonder your a happy gardener with all that lovely bright planting showing no signs of the dreadful winter weather we`ve had. The stumpery is looking good and I love the overhead shot of the garden.

Your happiness shines through! It certainly does us gardeners a power of good to see so much colour and new Spring growth ... after waiting for what seems like an eternity!

Thankyou all for your lovely comments, the garden is still looking cheerful but very soggy yet again, honestly I don't know what we've done to deserve it, has rained almost nonstop for the last three days, wouldn't be so bad if it hadn't turned so cold with it, I don't even feel like working in the g'houses...
