February in the Garden.....

Colour is returning qnd I’m hoping when the weather perks up again my mojo will, I have made a start tidying up but I ’m suffering with a bad back at the moment which has stopped me inside and out…..Sigh !!!! …Never mind aye!!!……A few pics to be going on with….
I’ve managed to keep my succulents safe and healthy using the mini g’house covers, they are still in situ but open as you can see, if we get a nasty turn and a sudden artic spell like last year I can close them up, the biggest danger would come from mildew if they got too damp, so far, all is good…..
Hoping all is well with everyone …xx

Hello Sue, I was just thinking about you today and now here you are!
I am pleased you are getting out in the garden, but really sorry about your back.
It must have been hard work doing some gardening.
There is a lot of colour in your garden too.
I wish I had the nerve to shape my large photinia as it is too big and out of shape but it has two trunks, so not sure if I should take one off.
Mind you, if I do there may not be much left to shape! lol

Hi Sue, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with back pain, it's very debilitating. Hopefully it won't keep you from doing things you like to do! I'm guessing it's a waiting game to see if it improves enough for you to potter. Keeping everything crossed.
Your garden has opened up lovely this month, hasn't it! Lots of Spring colour and cheer. The photinia is almost illuminating too!!! Your greenhouse is looking shipshape and full of healthy succulents. Last pic is a pretty one too!
Keep well and take care..Best wishes.

Lots to lift your spirits out there Sue with so many pretty plants flowering for you. I love your pond area too. I do hope your back pain goes away soon but meanwhile please don’t aggravate it!! Take care.

Hi Sue! I’m sorry about the bad back. I hope you can get plenty of rest, and it heals soon. Your garden is full of lovely sights to enjoy in the meantime. We are all desperate to get our hands dirty by now, but it can wait. X

Sue, I am sorry that your back is still causing you discomfort, back pain is just so debilitating. It has stopped raining here at last (4pm) but too late for any gardening now. There are so many jobs I would like to be getting on with, all I have managed so far is clearing a long border and spreading the home made compost over it. Oh well, better than nothing. Take care of yourself.
